If you're looking for ways to lower your ongoing printing costs, consider a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System). A CISS is an extremely cost-effective means of supplying ink to a printer - running costs are typically 80-90% saving compared to genuine cartridges, including the setup cost.

A CISS is a self-contained unit comprised of a large reservoir of ink alongside the printer that feed ink into the printer through flexible silicone tubes and custom ink cartridges.

rihac are a Melbourne-based group who design and assemble their own CISS.

InkJet City are proud to be the Official SA Distributor of rihac CISS. We have found them to be of a much higher quality than other CISS we have evaluated. rihac systems are:

• pre-assembled and inked
• simple to install
• do not require permanent modification to the printer
• supplied with 100ml of each ink - approximately 10 sets of original cartridges

When the CISS only costs as much as 1-2 sets of genuine cartridges it doesn't take much printing before you've saved hundreds of dollars.

All units come with comprehensive fitting instructions and customer support is available online or by telephone from rihac. The systems are covered by a 3 month parts warranty, and refill inks are also available.

• carefully profiled to closely match original ink colour - for better photos,
• includes UV absorber components - to prolong print life,
• micro-filtered to 0.2um - to prevent head blockages,

We have several recent model printers fitted with a CISS on display in our showroom - if it is nearby to you, come in and see it. We have produced some side-by-side comparison prints of the same photo on the same printer using genuine inks and rihac inks. The differences are very subtle!

Installation Service

rihac CISS are designed to be user-installable and come with clear instructions - in good English, and with plenty of photos. Nonetheless, you will need to put aside an hour and follow instructions carefully to install one (and inevitably get some ink on your fingers!)

An easier option is to make use of our install service. Simply leave your printer with us overnight and our experienced technicians will install it for you.

Install service costs $40 and booking is essential. (Please ensure there is a little ink left in the printer when your bring it in).
